Making temporary tattoo-ish things?
Recently, I was somewhere and there was a woman doing things similar to temporary tattoos. What she did is she stuck a sticker with the outline onto you, painted over it with glue, waited a few minutes, removed the outline sticker, and blew glitter onto the glue parts with little bottles. If you know, what is that called, and where might I be able to find materials for it?
Anyway, I face paint about 5 times a year as a volunteer. My face painting skills are crap, I am a reasonably good artist though. I figured if I could somehow do what she did with ordinary face paint instead of glue and glitter, it would be easier for me to make face paining and body art look good, because I can pre make the line art and then just color it in.
I have sticker paper, I could make the sticker things with that, I can't afford to buy special stuff.
Do you think it would work? Should I try?
I think a real tattoo is better than a fake one.

I bought a new machine, its a NSC J Frame Tattoo Machine TM-1214. Well I plugged it in and all it does is pull down the armature bar and not complete the circuit, So I looked it over compared to my other machine and figured out that it was missing a plastic washer, so I took one off my other machine and put it on the screw that's missing it on the new machine. Soo when I do that it works however it friggin shocks me, I have no idea whats going on. I messaged the company but they wont get back to me for a couple days. I like this machine its light. http://needlesupply.com/nsc-j-frame-tattoo-machine.html and I don't want to have to pay shipping to get it fixed assuming they will fix it. Can anyone give me any idea on what might be going wrong it would help. I checked for an open wire, nothing.
Sorry to say but you got ripped off. Those machines are all garbage and probably made in China by people who have never even seen a tattoo. I am surprised your co-workers at your studio let you get something like that, but maybe one of them will know what is wrong with it.
